🏠 Safavieh Zaira End Table from Home Collection Review

It arrived exactly as presented. It was easy to assemble. It looks great in our solarium and even holds a few books where the legs meet at the bottom.

This table is exactly as pictured and described on the website. I would have liked a less shiny upper but it's still classy and very durable. No scratches, dents, drops or missing areas. Does what it promises at a reasonable price.

Although I love the look of this table, when you assemble it and tighten the three screws, they are too long and push through the top causing the shells of the caps to break. Sending back such a large item is a ridiculous hassle and costing me half the item price, so I think I'm stuck with a cracked finish. When you buy, assemble carefully and your table may wobble as you cannot fully tighten the screws.

What should have taken several minutes took much longer because only 2/3 of the holes were aligned. The third will be about 1/4 less. After a little fiddling to get it in place I finally got it together. The silly hex key makes it difficult to get the screws all the way in, although looking at another review it might be better not to. I only use it for the plant so it doesn't get in the way. Not worth the trouble.

This side table matches the existing one I imported from Pier 1 Great finish and nice design. Unfortunately, the screws that come with them are MUCH longer, which I didn't discover until I broke the top of the first ones I received. Thought it might be a coincidence so I exchanged. nope! The same with the second. Luckily my husband is a dandy and had a giant rubber washer to hold it in place and make sure the legs stayed on without damaging the top.
