But does a great job of organizing my cutting boards and other kitchen essentials. It's even strong enough to hold the cast iron lid of my Dutch Oven. I expected it to fit snugly in my kitchen trolley but the dimensions given are correct. I recommend this for your kitchen organization and I'm sure it will do a great job of organizing your files.

The shelf itself works well but assembly is problematic as the 4 holes for mounting screws are located just above the basket making it almost impossible to insert a regular drill or screwdriver. Therefore, you need to insert the screws at an angle. As you can see from the photos it comes in a tight box so 3 or 4 corners have been bent. I fixed it instead of sending it back because I'm impatient and I have the tools.

This item was very difficult to install under a table. The mounting plate does not detach from the box, so the entire unit must be treated. The mounting holes don't protrude far enough in the front and back that you can't use a drill and have to install with a screwdriver, and it's actually difficult to mark the holes even with a pencil. Considering that it is intended to be mounted under a table, thought had to be made to make it easier.

I only give two stars because the concept is good. I was hoping this would work as I would have room on a flat table without it. And it looks like it even held a decent load of folders, papers etc and didn't fall over. Installation wasn't difficult, but after some use I noticed a few problems. First, the top drawer that slides in and out is very easy to pull out and pull out all the way, spilling the contents everywhere. I needed more space under my IKEA table so I figured it would fit. The fit was really good. The thick 1.5 inch metal braces under the table were easily bypassed. They were probably 0.25" longer than I was hoping for, so they touch the thick table leg, which means if I want them to fit snugly at the top where it hangs on the table.
