Good brushpens, but difficult for left-handers.

I was so happy to use these pins! What nobody mentioned in the reviews (and that's actually NOT a flaw, just a bummer) is that these brush pens are very difficult to use with the left hand. I assume this applies to any brush. But the colors are beautiful, the packaging is pretty, and I'm on a mission to figure out how a left-handed person should use it. i go to youtube

Not suitable for calligraphy

I bought these for calligraphy and they worked well for a short time. However, due to the very strong top, they quickly wore out and made messy moves higher. Running out of ink and the downstrokes were fine was no problem, but the broken tip and upstrokes made them impossible for calligraphy. They've been sitting in a drawer untouched ever since, so I wouldn't recommend them.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Exchange possibility

Good starter kit on the blueprint

These make a great starter kit especially when Revain is heavily discounted. The colors are vibrant and look great on thick paper. I like to draw on regular notepad paper, which isn't great for any kind of work, and the pens will definitely run out, but if you want to try brush pens, I'd try them first before you start. more expensive brands. Once you've decided you like Brush Pens, I'll move on to JetPens and try out the Brush Sampler Set. This Sakura's brushes will start to loosen after a…

Happy customer! on Pens

I'm glad I bought these brush pens. I have already tested them and I am satisfied with the ink flow and the flexibility of the nibs. I had imagined the tips to be larger, but would call them medium. It is no problem for me. The only drawback, however, is that the green pin at the top is a bit leaky. I wipe it down before each use and it's ok. If I come back to this another time, there will be a small leak again. Again this is not a big problem for me as I bought these pens at their affordable…

THIS IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR A WRITING INSTRUMENT!

I should have definitely looked more closely despite reading some reviews. These devices have a very sharp looking tip and from the description they can serve as a pen OR a brush. NO WAY! very fragile. This is NOT a writing instrument. It can be used to color a page, but don't make the same mistake I made and assume you can use it too. Yes it's only $11 but I hate to be wrong. Now that they are not "as advertised" to me at least, should I return them or should I keep them? Still not decided. I…

I jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon and started a bullet journal. It wasn't my plan at all - my sister recently gave me a Leuchtturm1917 medium A5 hardcover notebook - dotted pages - black and like any other artist I had to start. I already own a few Pigma Micron pens and was curious to see how the brush line behaved. I'm happy to report that these pens work fantastically with the Leuchtturm Magazine pages. The colors of these pens are crisp and bright, and most importantly - they DO NOT LEAK…

For drawings only, not for magazines

I have Pigma Micron pens (black) and I LOVE them. I also have Pentel Sign Pens (in color) and I LOVE them. When Revane showed them to me, buying them was easy. I love sakura pens. Since these are brush pens, I naturally thought it would be a good combo between the brush pens and the fineline pens I already have. I think so, but it's very difficult. I would seriously only use them for art. They bleed through even the thickest pages of my notebook. (Not drawing/drawing pages, heavy notebook paper

Pros
  • Most papers are stain, feather and stain free
Cons
  • Available in black only
