If you love pens and are very careful about how they work, read on. Thinner than classic Sharpie. more durable. They do NOT bleed. The thickness of 1 mm is always constant. Unlike Sharpie. It's a bullet point, but it flows so beautifully. I will buy more.

Excellent pen for detailing. I'm an artist and I usually paint with acrylics on a large canvas with different textures, but I recently had a hip prosthesis and an extended hospital stay and obviously couldn't lug around a 48x48 canvas. Instead, I started painting small postcards and watercolor prints, and to make them look good I drew them with ink pens. This Sakura pen works exceptionally well and I would recommend it to anyone needing detail or any other reason.

I like that the ink doesn't bleed (when using 80# paper) but the pen itself leaks and suddenly I have ink stains on my work - very, very annoying! Also, some pens have very little ink and dry out too quickly. I am looking for an alternative to this product. I have attached a photo. My pencils indicate drop marks. There are some doodles nearby checking another pen and if you look closely you can see that the ink in the new pen is not flowing at all. (sigh.)
