Low quality in my rating

It was nice at first, but! Two weeks later, he showed a different face of himself. Heavy, uncomfortable, difficult to put on and take off. the fabric is very cheap, this model is made of inferior material, the fabric of the front of the shoe is worn on four sides and the sole is worn after 2 months. And out of shape after 3 months. These are $25 to $30 shoes, not over $130. Really disappointing. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • EnergyCell+ technology provides superior cushioning for a more comfortable ride.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with bursitis or hammer toes

No So Impressive is the best in my rating

Bought two pairs after reading many reviews, both positive and negative. Most reviews are positive. My review will not be positive, and I'm not entirely sure if positive reviews can come from those who don't just wear them as casual shoes. I was fascinated by the lacing system because I have arthritis in my hands. Actually, the lacing system works pretty well for me. The rest of the shoe isn't that impressive. After a few weeks of use, the fabric started to peel off when walking in the places…

Pros
  • I have an arch problem on my left foot and this shoe is one of the few that are comfortable to wear.
Cons
  • Insufficient cushioning

Good shoes my rating

I rode this pair 800 miles on the Appalachian Trail in 2020 so I ordered these as a spare. Only in the wet was it dangerously lacking in grip until they had covered about a hundred miles.

Pros
  • This is the real deal, you can't find real sneakers like this anymore
Cons
  • The materials used in this shoe were better than the old version.

Great all terrain and durable shoe

I use them every day and have ordered a half size up for long runs so I can double up the socks in winter, they are now super waterproof but breathable and easy to clean. I love the lacing system they use, it's the best I've seen on a boot.

Pros
  • The durable Contagrip outsole offers excellent traction and traction
Cons
  • Too expensive for this quality

Excellent durable cool running shoes

My favorite sneakers. I love the lack of laces to keep untying and the toe coverage so my big toe doesn't poke a hole in the top.

Pros
  • Compatible with OrthoLite insoles for extra comfort and support.
Cons
  • Not as durable as other trail running shoes on the market.

Comfortable and good looking!

My husband has several shoes but he liked them so much he bought 2 pairs. They're easy to lace up and he says they're very comfortable.

Pros
  • Yes, I said that. The best shoes money can buy. Now make more of these in more colors until they are 11.5.
Cons
  • Well made but not true to size. If you normally wear a size 8.5 then order a size 9 and you should have a perfect fit.

The most comfortable shoes I've ever had.

Bought this shoe based on the good reviews. My first impression was that the shoes look great and fit perfectly. The best shoes I've ever had.

Pros
  • The 3D mesh upper offers excellent breathability and ventilation.
Cons
  • Causes pain in toes after prolonged use

Great shoes - my new review

I really love these shoes, they fit great, look great and love the laceless system. My only complaint is that the tip that goes down and attaches to the toe creates a pinch point in the shoe. This may not make you uncomfortable, but it will cause premature wear in that area of the shoe. overall great shoes

Pros
  • Quality design and construction ensure reliability and durability
Cons
  • May cause pain or discomfort in the legs

Amazing trail and city shoes

I waited to write a review until I had a few miles on them. I have wide, sweaty feet and it's phenomenal. They are ventilated, very comfortable and withstand rock falls and long hikes. Definitely recommend and repurchase or repurchase when they die. I've had similar Salomon boots for 8 years so I have confidence in the company and the build.

Pros
  • I love these shoes, this is the 5th pair of this model.
Cons
  • hard to crack

Worn out after walking 4 times in 3 weeks. Poor quality product

I have >10 pairs of Salomon sneakers and love them. comfortable and generally designed for 2-3 years of sporadic outings/hikes. This pair wore out in 3 weeks. must be a fake or faulty batch.

Pros
  • Well done
Cons
  • Poor breathability

New version of Salomon XA PRO 3D

I love wearing Salomons and have for many years. I recently purchased an updated version of XA PRO 3D. There were some mixed reviews and I can understand their point of view. Compared to previous versions, this one appears "simpler" and therefore may not be as "robust" as previous models. Nevertheless, the shoe feels comfortable, the sole is solid and the grip is excellent. Durability is hard to judge as this is a new thing. In the past (and this has been confirmed by other reviews as well) it…

Pros
  • The design of the shoe is versatile and can be used in different weather conditions.
Cons
  • May cause ankle instability

Works for me in my review

So far I am happy with the shoes. I made a purchase in anticipation of hiking the Camino in Santiago in September. I will update afterwards if needed.

Pros
  • The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn
Cons
  • High level of service

Great shoes with no wear

Very comfortable, easy to put on and take off, light weight, but they can only be worn for a week, so durability is questionable. I love her so far.

Pros
  • Excellent cushioning for a more comfortable run
Cons
  • Too narrow for a wider foot

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Uncomfortable little fingers rub hard seams with no padding

The little toe on both feet rubs against the inside of the shoe, extremely uncomfortable. Felt on the inside, and where the pinky meets the side panel, there's no padding, just stiff stitching. Terrible

Pros
  • love these shoes
Cons
  • Inflexible outsole

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't buy if you don't want wide

I have always trusted Salomon to be the right size. This shoe should be advertised as a wide version (curious what the tag on the shoe does!).

Pros
  • A good product
Cons
  • Not suitable for orthopedics

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Difficult at first but worth the effort to crack

Initially, these shoes were very stiff. I've often worn them in the rain, which helped soften them. I love them for mountain or rock trips. Not very suitable for patches as they can be quite stiff. I have a narrow foot so they fit me, but if you have a wide foot these shoes may not fit you.

Pros
  • The midsole offers excellent energy return for added strength and agility.
Cons
  • A large size provides poor support

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's incredibly durable.

This shoe is designed for long-term use. I had another but replaced them with a new pair for the rocky trail run I do. Why! because I needed a good pair of running shoes. The old pair looked unworn. After a good wash I sent them to daily use. Very convenient.

Pros
  • The OrthoLite insole is removable and washable.
Cons
  • Too wide for narrow feet

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Turns out a bit wider than other Salomons

Was looking for a replacement for my Salomon Sense Ride boots (size 7.5). Decided to try these as they seem more durable for the trails. In terms of fit, they are a bit wider, mostly in the toe area, than Sense Rides of the same size. Sense Ride are good because they fit like a sock. These XA Pros don't fit like a sock. Although they still have a ContraGrip outsole, the firmness feels higher, i. H. Not as soft as other Salomons. Let's see how they hold up on some AZ routes in a week. Imagine…

Pros
  • The shoe's EVA foam provides additional cushioning for added comfort and protection.
Cons
  • Not suitable for flat feet or high arches

second couple - my new rating

These are great shoes. My second pair. I could get them in a wide range. Perfect fit right out of the box. Don't break them. I wore out the first pair. They are great for everything from walking to hiking trails. Very stable shoes. I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Breathable materials keep feet cool and comfortable on long runs.
Cons
  • Too small or too big for the specified size

THIS NEW VERSION IS TERRIBLE COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS XA PRO 3D

I still have a few XA PRO 3Ds. This new version is not like that at all. Attention buyers. They seem cheaper, not as well made, and look like a bunch of plastic that's fused together instead of sewn together. Salomon is unhappy with this new design. The previous version was one of the best shoes I've ever owned. Why change something that isn't broken? booooo. I will most likely return.

Pros
  • Provides excellent grip and stability on a variety of surfaces.
Cons
  • Not breathable enough for hot weather
