Good reviews and specs but this unit didn't work. Turned on the light and got a flash. Got good technical advice and we couldn't decide. Came back and decided to try another device with even better reviews online. Revain accepted the return, of course I will continue to shop here. Probably a good unit is normal.

The Samlex inverter was marked "This item is defective". More specifically, I paid $180 for a new block. When it arrived it was obviously overpacked and placed carelessly in the box, spine to front. I taped it to the inverter and inside the clear plastic case was the same note. The inverter also rattled when shaken. never seen before It's absolutely incredible, except that it happened.
