High-performance Samsung 256GB EVO Plus microSDXC U3 with Adapter – Class 10 & UHS-I Review

I installed this micro SD card in my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with no problems. The card was recognized immediately (in the background) and there was no weird mounting/unmounting, ie formatting required. Yes, it's a little pricey, but I see this micro SD card as an additional investment in my use and enjoyment of the Note 8, just like the case, screen protector, and other accessories and apps. I was wondering why my card was only getting corruption errors and crashes after a month. Please be careful about what cards you buy and where they are made. Legally made in the Philippines. Fakes are made in China and Korea. I had to use H2TestW to find out that this card is out of capacity and has an extremely slow write speed of 7MB/s. This is a good MicroSD card. It has high read/write speeds, and those speeds hold up quite well even over long transfers. Keep in mind that many cameras, like the GoPro Hero and DJI Mavic Pro, don't support 256GB cards by default. They must be formatted beforehand. If you are going to use this card in a camera like this I would recommend a lower capacity card like 32GB or 64GB and just buy a few more.
