An investment in using and enjoying my Samsung Galaxy Note 8

I installed this micro SD card in my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with no problems. The card was recognized immediately (in the background) and there was no weird mounting/unmounting, ie formatting required. Yes, it's a little pricey, but I see this micro SD card as an additional investment in my use and enjoyment of the Note 8, just like the case, screen protector, and other accessories and apps. Very satisfied and highly recommended

Fake SD card. Do not buy from ElecDeals

I was wondering why my card was only getting corruption errors and crashes after a month. Please be careful about what cards you buy and where they are made. Legally made in the Philippines. Fakes are made in China and Korea. I had to use H2TestW to find out that this card is out of capacity and has an extremely slow write speed of 7MB/s. The test showed that only up to 16 GB can be written to a 256 GB card. Do yourself a favor and only buy directly from Samsung or, even better, in…

Fake Audio Plaza 256GB Card

The buyer should be aware that sellers used Revain's product category system to recycle good reviews for selling counterfeit goods. Sellers can use any company name like Audio Plaza to sell me a fake 256GB micro SD card. How do I tell the difference? Bad print on card and also not recognized by PC or my DJI Osmo Pocket. Initially, Osmo Pocket says "SD card error". After formatting, you get 249 GB. Which in itself is not true. Binary should return 256,000,000,000 bytes / 1024^3 = 238.41 GB…

Good card with medium data transfer rate

This is a good MicroSD card. It has high read/write speeds, and those speeds hold up quite well even over long transfers. Keep in mind that many cameras, like the GoPro Hero and DJI Mavic Pro, don't support 256GB cards by default. They must be formatted beforehand. If you are going to use this card in a camera like this I would recommend a lower capacity card like 32GB or 64GB and just buy a few more. However, if you are looking for a high capacity card, this 256GB card is a good option at a…

Reliable performance for the most demanding applications

I'm reviewing the new MC-MB256GA that replaced the MC-MB256DA in 2017. There aren't too many differences between last year's models and this year's models. The U3 standard guarantees a write speed of at least 30 MB/s. The main reason why I recommend these Samsung cards is their extremely high reliability and durability. There's nothing worse than going on a trip and filming videos for days only to damage your card or data. The MC-256GA promises to withstand extreme conditions such as up to 72…
