I was glad to order these official Samsung headphones after reading the description and seeing the reviews that this product is legit (unlike some cheap scammers). Unfortunately, a very old, outdated version of these retail-packaged headphones surfaced. The box said they were compatible with the recently released Galaxy S2. This is from 2011. After buying and sending back so many fake headphones, I finally found a set that is genuine from Samsung. I've found and confirmed online that Samsung phones are quirky in that the mics in headphones from other manufacturers don't work during a call.
