Corrected! The battery discharges quickly. The back gets very hot.

The battery lasts about 5 hours. The back gets very hot. I'm thinking of returning it. Update, it was one of the apps that was causing this. I uninstalled all the apps I wasn't using (or stopped them if I couldn't uninstall them) and now there are no heat issues and the battery lasts all day. Nice little tablet that I will only use for reading.

Nice tablet - not many options for a tablet this size

T-Mobile. Pros: Convenient size. Good picture. Quickly. LTE. Not many viruses. There is a Google Play Store. You can expand the storage with an SD card. Cons: only 32GB. It is not possible to buy directly unlocked from Samsung. Load slowly. Bought to replace my Apple Mini iPad 4 and Revain HD 8 tablets. Really good tablet but not for what I wanted to use it for.

Pros: The tablet looks very nice, although I don't like buying non-black tablets. This default mocha color isn't a deal breaker, in fact you have to hold it in some light to see the evil mocha color or it just looks "dark to black" when not in the light. It doesn't really matter because I have it in a black case. The screen isn't bad, very high resolution, bright vibrant colors and nice crisp text with a good update. Affordable 8-inch tablet with the highest resolution and true GPS. Upgraded to Android 10.

I bought it for a reason. To start Avare. Not many 8-inch tablets have GPS, a 1920 x 1200 screen resolution, run Android 10, and have decent battery life. This is one of them. It replaces a pair of disposable 8 inch Revain Fire tablets that I used for this purpose. They don't have built-in GPS, they're slower, they don't have good screen resolution, they don't come with Google Play installed, and they don't run Android 10. Drone pilots, that's it. All DJI, Drone Deploy work great on this tablet.

I didn't want to buy an Apple product and wasn't sure which one to buy, but I like Samsung products. So I took a chance and ALL my drone software works great on this machine. So go buy now. Have a nice day kids.

This is not a cell phone

The display wasn't clear enough, this tablet works on a cellular network but it is NOT a cell phone. You can download phone apps but they use different mobile numbers. As a tablet it's great, I have a couple of 8 inch Samsungs too.

Why aren't there premium 8-inch Android tablets?

This tablet is an improvement on the one I bought and returned. I mainly use it for mobile gaming, web browsing and reading. The picture quality on the screen is excellent. It even has an outdoor mode that brightens the screen beyond the default brightness settings. It's responsive, although I can feel a little lag at times. The sound is not impressive, nothing extraordinary. It has Dolby Atmos, which I don't really understand since both speakers are in the same place. Maybe it's a different…

Doesn't work like a cell phone!

I bought this to use as a phone + computer + internet source (via hotspot) to simplify things for future travel/camping adventures. However, after spending almost $300, I realized that this is not a cellphone. I hope Revane will accept my return. Otherwise a good working device! Just know!
