Used twice and now the gears for the clamp sides are off and it won't hold my phone. Samsung Galaxy S8+. It has great windshield suction power. Where you tighten the connections after adjustment is strong. But its main function, holding the phone, doesn't last long.

This is a high quality and durable phone mount, but it does not fit Galaxy 8/8+. The two protrusions holding the phone upright prevent the headphone jack from being used. This was most likely due to the "rebranding" of the iPhone mount available for sale in the Galaxy market. If you don't use the headphone jack, it works fine.

Love it. I have a long commute so I like listening to stuff on YouTube. This thing gives me peace of mind that my precious S8 Plus won't fall from where it's attached to the windshield. You'll have to align it a bit to make sure your Bixby button doesn't get pressed, but it doesn't matter much for keeping my phone secure. It is also very durable and hardly wobbles when driving on rough roads. Overall excellent.

Didn't want to write a review until I tried it on my S8+. The design is nice, but it's not designed for a Bixby button on the side, as I've consistently found that the bracket squeezes the button in a vertical position. I tried turning it horizontally and sliding the phone up to avoid pressing the button, but it just wasn't holding the device in the right position. I like the structure and the height adjustment, it works with a case but I don't know if this mount will fit my phone.

I highly recommend this for your Samsung Galaxy S8. It was easy to attach to the windshield. Once you tighten the two large knobs after positioning them to your liking, your phone will be held in place without moving at all. Even if you are on a bumpy road. Other reviewers said they had trouble pressing the volume buttons and Bixby's three handles. It's not a problem at all. Once placed, the device presses firmly against the phone to lock it in place.

I liked the easy installation and how it fits my S8+ easily. I hate Bixby so I disabled the Bixby button anyway so that was never an issue but all you have to do is make sure your phone is placed between the two holders anyway. I used it on my dash for the first 2 weeks but then the sticky thing came off (summer heat I guess and I live in the Boston area so keep that in mind) so I had to scrape the rest off and go . only for window fittings.

I have a Galaxy S8+, it's heavy and I've tried another mount that couldn't handle that much weight. It took the weight well. It has a good suction cup and the bobs that hold everything steady are easy to tighten and hold. It also sticks out further than other car mounts, making it easier to manipulate the phone while driving, e.g. B. switch songs, check GPS, answer a call and so on. I've only had it a few weeks but so far it's a great car mount. My last mount lasted 2 years and 3 phones, I hope

This is by far the best car phone mount I have ever bought. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ with a thick body that looks like an Otterbox and I can easily fit it in this car bag. The device is solid and mostly well made, but some parts are poorly designed. The spring is not strong enough to securely hold the device upright. After using it for a short time, I dropped the phone vertically. I need to increase grip by adding a rubber band.
