Using a portable drive: data storage

assembled in an MKey USB adapter. Although I don't use much of the read/write speed, it gets the most out of the USB port. In the meantime, a portable SSD can exceed the price of my device.

  • performance
Cons

CrystalDiskMark Review via USB Converter

This CrystalDiskMark review was created using a USB3 converter. This is a neat little M.2 SSD. Fourteen dollars. Not a bad deal.

Pros
  • Interface
Cons
  • No Form Required

Ok until you break it

It's a great little NVME, a bit slow and gets warm (to be expected) but works fine, had no problems other than an occasional break of one of the resistors next to the mounting screw, now is it the weight of the paper lol. it was good while it lasted.

Pros
  • Capacitance
Cons
  • Zero

Using a portable drive for internal SSDs

Assembled in an MKey USB adapter. Although I don't use much of the read/write speed, it gets the most out of the USB port. The SSD may exceed the price of my device.

Pros
  • Compatible devices
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fine as long as you don't break it

This is a great little NVME, a bit slow and gets warm (to be expected) but works fine, had no issues except accidentally breaking one of the resistors next to the mounting screw, now it's the weight of the paper lol. it was good while it lasted.

Pros
  • Performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Does not fit in WWAN card slot

This is for a Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 where I am removing the WWAN LTE module and replacing it with a second SSD. Unfortunately does not fit because the neckline is below and the neckline must be at the top or on both sides. So I send it back and get an M.2 2242 module.
