Not entirely sure if this is coincidence or if my mid 2012 MacBook Pro broke. After installation my Mac worked great, fast and nothing showed any sign of problems. I hooked it up to my wife's old ASUS i7 processor and it went from a capable but somewhat clumsy worker to a breathtakingly powerful lap god. The only downside is that you need to have a plan in place to deal with all the drool you'll be drooling all over your poor, crumbly keyboard. With a name like Samsung, you know you're getting the best. I recently bought an Acer laptop for a very low price but as they say you get what you pay for. It had 6 RAM which made it slow and sluggish on startup and streaming so I took the plunge and bought these two cards, 8 RAM each giving me 16 RAM total. Very easy to install. There were no problems booting up the computer. What incredible speed it gave me. The improved performance made the upgrade worthwhile.
