Not entirely sure if this is coincidence or if my mid 2012 MacBook Pro broke. After installation my Mac worked great, fast and nothing showed any sign of problems. After a few weeks of using GPS programming and just doing schoolwork, my Mac started freezing and taking a long time to boot up. After he behaved I restarted the computer where he never started. I checked for problems with Apple support but nothing. So I took out those RAM sticks and plugged in the old 4GB. Switched on and started administering first aid again. The problem fixed itself and it booted up. I tried again to insert 16GB and then my Mac just died. UPDATE 1/8/2020 I went back to my Mac to see if I could fix this. It turned out that the computer's old hard drive had died. I switched to an SSD, used those RAM sticks, and my Mac runs better than before it died. I have changed my star rating to a rating of 1 to 4. My Mac reads 16GB of memory. It's been a few weeks and he's still going strong.
