Impressive Compact Lens

I had been hesitant to buy a new lens for my camera, but I'm glad I took the plunge with this one. Based on my observations, the image quality is impressive and the size of the lens makes it easy to carry around. The focus is quick and quiet, and the lens itself feels sturdy and well-built. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey compared to other lenses in its category. Overall, if you're looking for a high-quality lens for your electronics, this one is definitely worth considering.

Pros
  • Impressive image quality and quick focus.
Cons
  • A bit pricey compared to other lenses in its category.

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

Judging by foreign reviews, where this glass is compared in sharpness with 24 / 1.4 gm, and it is not much inferior to it there, I came across an unsuccessful copy. I returned it to the store with a claim for quality, after three weeks the manufacturer approved the return, and returned the money, although I asked for a lens with uniform sharpness. But since I live in a not very big city, you can buy a subject only with delivery from other cities, and it is not possible to determine the problem…

Pros
  • Light, like the whole new line, especially after the manual 24 / 1.4 from the same manufacturer. Fast autofocus on a7-3, nice blur. Button to turn on infinity, convenient for astro, no need to constantly catch focus in the dark on the stars
Cons
  • With my lens, the right edge with the open and up to 2.8 was noticeably soapy, relative to the center and left edge, which was very upsetting, since the manufacturer positions it as a lens for astro shooting, and of course it’s better to shoot this genre at maximum aperture to collect more light.

Excellent lens on lenses

I got this lens after trying the Tamron 20mm 2.8 f/2 which was a good lens but wasn't as sharp as I did it would like, and a little wider than you would like it to be. After looking at the reviews I decided to pay the difference and upgrade to the Samyang 24mm F1.8. This lens is excellent. The autofocus was my biggest doubt because even though Samyang is known for their great optics, they are still working on autofocus bugs. I'm happy to say it's great, I'm sure my Sony 85 f1.8 is technically…

Pros
  • Lenses for SLR cameras
Cons
  • No instructions
