Good lens (MFT - Olympus)

Good lens. Manual focusing takes some getting used to, because the electronic viewfinder almost always looks good. Zoom and focus peaking are great helpers.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Weak kit

The price can't match the quality

I really like this manual lens. Apparently, it's the same as Rokinon, which cost more back then. Takes extremely clear photos and does a great job at photographing stars.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Expensive

Sharp and clear in lenses

My new night shooter! I was a little apprehensive about the fully manual settings, but they work well for tripod shooting. Love the click to stop f. Colors and clarity are perfect. Photos taken with Olympus OMD m10 and 5.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great value for both camera and photo

Nice little lens. I use it for streaming on a Zcam and if you get too close a distant object gets the effect of a dog's nose, but when you're sitting at a table it shows almost no warping. Pretty much the fastest lens of this length available, but don't expect bokeh or really blurry backgrounds.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No car

Amazing lens! Feels like a $900 lens

Amazing lens! Feels like a $900 lens! I like the hard focus ring. The resistance makes it accurate to focus in videos. If you want to focus on the video, that's great! Think. This is a manual lens. You need to go into csmera settings and say use manual fill.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Good value for money

I bought this 12mm lens to expand the possibilities of documentary lenses. The lens works perfectly and flawlessly, however it is a very short lens - even if you add focus rings, the physical length of the lens makes it not ideal to attach and focus on. Remember. It's not a "cinematic" lens, but it works well as an affordable alternative. The lens is fully manual and the focus is sharp. It is worth buying.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • Volume
