These are my competition and sparring gloves. The skin is so supple and yet durable. The lacing actually helps stabilize and support my wrists when hitting heavier bags. They are visually beautiful. High quality synthetic leather and good wrist support with lacing. Padded interior allows your hand to fit completely inside the glove. Good padding for joint support and yet you can feel the effect, which is important. I felt it was reasonably priced for the superior fit and support.

This is a great pair of gloves, feels good and looks really good. The only thing is, if they take a premium, they should contain a premium. Why make faux leather with such a high charge? But still, it feels comfortable and is generally professionally made. It would be perfect in its price range if it were a little cheaper, but other than that I like it.

I'm basically a wrestler and have been trying my hand at boxing for cardio and self defense for a number of years. Sanabul has always been a serious boxing equipment supplier! They are aesthetically beautiful and hold up well during sessions. Currently using the 12oz for pocket exercises and they're definitely flying! Overall, I would recommend them to any hobbyist, hobbyist, intermediate, or even athlete.

Bought a $35 pair for me and my son. Both gloves weigh 16 ounces so it will be fair. We are inexperienced in everything to do with boxing. To be honest I can't tell these gloves apart from the $35 gloves. My gloves are pulled over my hands and tied. It is not retractable and has velcro closure. I have no idea if walking arm in arm with your father is good or bad. I know that when I tried to put it back in the bag, the bag ripped the first time.
