Time will tell how well it prevents drain line problems due to roots but this product is inexpensive and in bulk (2lb ) available. . Extremely easy to use - simply pour down the toilet closest to the drain overnight and flush. (Do this in 0.5 lb increments or 1/4 container at each drain).

I have a muddy side sewer line that is damaged from age and root growth will intrude and clog the line. In using this product for almost a year I have not had a back-up and/or clog in this tube!
