Reviewing this item today.I took it specifically to reset the factory settings to it, so I can’t say anything about everyday use.

I'm going to use Ventoy as a bootable flash drive with a bunch of images. You can record images in 10+ hours. They will be read at a speed of 10 Mb / s - i. E. 36 GB/hour. Acceptable for software installation. Windows is about 3.6 GB - about 6 minutes of reading in theory. Checked, wrote down a file on 100 Gb. It took a little over 5 hours. Stops working after a week with a critical error. The Sandisk website says they are aware of the error and there is no solution other than to return it for a refund. The problem ONLY affects 16GB Cruzer.

Everything was fine at first, but the videos I tried to play from it kept giving errors. Tried to reformat but it doesn't work at all. I want to return but despite saying I still have 2 weeks to return, Revain says a return is not possible. Totally dissatisfied. Even the promotional sticks I received at trade shows work better.

has a pretty good capacity for $$ but is quite slow and BEWARE of the SECURE STORAGE feature as it password protects files you insert but then used not knowing your password (I even wrote mine down, made sure it wasn't capitalized, and double-checked what I typed) and then you can't access the files you're trying to protect, and there's no way of knowing your password reset it and you have to delete the whole thing. USELESS!

4.5MB/s much worse than a cheap free hard drive. The read speed is a decent 35MB/s. This drive would be fine if you rarely write to it and use it mostly for reading - or if you don't care about write speeds. This is the last SanDisk drive I will be buying, I have 3 of them and they all suck at write speeds. .

Flash drive works right out of the box. The slider allows the user to protect the USB port when not in use. It expands the connector and locks it when needed. However, the included software SanDiskSecure Access is confusing. With its "Download for Mac" document, it gives the impression that it has to be installed in order to be able to use the USB stick. This drive has a speed drop from 18MB/s to 2MB/s with each transfer. The files I transferred had at least two dips in speed each time. In the long run, this meant that transfers that were supposed to take 1 minute could take up to 3 minutes or more. The performance was so out of the box. It has unprecedented read and write speeds and storage capacity. It gets warm but not hot. I have several of these and am very happy with them. Great flash drive. It's expensive, but if you need to move large files frequently, this is the flash drive you should buy. Read and write speeds cannot be adjusted. Many flash drives have excellent read speeds, but this one has both. Lifetime guarantee? Who gives a lifetime guarantee now? This is my second device and both still work. Excellent! The only problem I had was not knowing this was X-FAT32 formatted. I bought this flash drive to burn the movies I have on my computer so I can watch them on my smart TV in my living room. After spending a few hours transferring files to the drive, I connect it to my smart TV and get an error message saying the drive is not supported. I've tried this on my Sony Blu-ray which has an external USB media slot and doesn't recognize the drive either. I tell my husband about this and he says
