Less than a year and DEAD

6 months have passed and the card is already dead. Tried to format on both the DVR and the computer. Very disappointed as it was so highly recommended. Update: I tried contacting Sandisk support but didn't get a response. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  • Great price

Bought for use in Tesla Model 3 "Sentry Mode "

After using several USB sticks to record videos on Tesla camera and got mixed results mainly lots of corrupted videos I did a little research. and found that for the best results you need to use a highly reliable SD card specifically designed for continuous video recording. So far so good, no damage since using this card. Be sure to format the card as FAT32 for it to work in Tesla. Also create a folder called "TeslaCam" without the quotes and save it on the card.

Limited lifetime in DVR

I ordered this microcard in April 2017 and it was dead at the end of May 2018. It was used in a Yi DVR for 1080p recording. I understand that the dashcam is constantly writing and overwriting data to the card, but I typically only drive about 2-3 hours a day Monday-Friday and maybe 1-2 hours on weekends. That's only about 900 hours a year. Even if I double that to 1,800 hours per year, that's still far from the claimed 10,000 hour expected lifespan. I expected this card to last at least 18…

Well done! Reliable and works great!

Bought to live in my dashcam (Viofo A119S-V2) and record 1080p/60fps while driving. Never had any problems with it, works like clockwork. For those who buy this card at the same price. So note that I was able to record 6 hours and 17 minutes with this 64GB memory card at these settings (1080p/60p). I'm not sure if they're the same for every camera, but for those who bought this model of camera and memory card, here are your numbers for you. Excellent for the price! Love that it's white! How…

After using many different cards.

Update 5/30/17: The card has been working for a month now and is still working great. I still reformat the card once a week. (Original review on 05/15/17) Maybe it's The One! I have Blackvue and have tried many cards from different manufacturers. They all end up not keeping up with my DVR. The first day or two will be fine, then I hear the message "Reboot". With this SanDisk High Endurance I installed it and it has worked for 17 consecutive days with no crashes or resets. I am pleased! I follow

Great cards for my Viofo!

I have had bad experiences with other types of micro SD cards for dash cams in the past (Viofo A119 and Rexing). My cards died about every 18 months. Did a little research and found that DVRs prefer a more specific card that can withstand the abuse of being recorded and rewritten over and over again. I've watched a few YouTube videos about SD cards related to dash cams and everyone seems to agree that this card does the job. That was about 2.5 years ago. Well, SanDisk High Endurance cards have…

Excellent performance

Currently working great with my Blackvue DVR. I've tried standard SanDisk and Kingston MicroSD with a dashcam. For the past few months, the heat in El Paso has caused my DVR to reboot (yes we've had hot weather and it's been snowing for everyone). I've tried reformatting the card, switching between cards and found information about extreme temperatures causing SD issues. Think about it, constant expansion and contraction, hot and cold and scientific stuff. In any case, there isn't a single…

Not even suitable as a paperweight

I bought this SD card to use for my car DVR. With insurance fraud on the rise, this card combined with my DVR was a way to protect me. I realized that SanDisk had an excellent reputation and decided to choose it over other competitors. Unfortunately I should have been more careful. I've had this SD card for over a year and found today that it hasn't recorded any footage for the last 7 months due to an error. The SD card can no longer be edited or formatted. Luckily I wasn't at the incident…

Durable micro SD card for recording

I bought this durable micro SD card to use with my DVR. Mine is set to 5 minute cycles, meaning it captures a 5 minute video, then creates a new file for the next 5 minutes and so on until the entire SD card is full - at which point the camera will overwrite the oldest files as needed. keeps making 5 minute videos. With many hours of driving, that is of course a lot. It never occurred to me, but turns out there's one difference between a regular SD card and one of those high-reliability cards…

It used to be UHS-I cards, what happened?!

The cards I ordered in February 2017 were UHS-I, not Class 10. All the cards I've received since are those slower Class 10 They look almost the same, except the UHS-I card has a U1 logo instead of the Class 10 logo in the lower left corner and a capital I next to the MicroSDHC logo in the lower right corner. Other differences include the fact that the UHS card is made in Taiwan, not China, and the overall read/write speeds are much faster. At the moment I can't find any information about UHS…
