All I know is that it works with my GoPro for 4K videos and I haven't had any problems with it so far. It wasn't working at first until I saw this post about this card from someone else regarding GO PRO 5. GoPro Hero5 Black. You get an SD card error. After an hour of fiddling with it I reformatted the card in the camera settings menu and then it still didn't work.
