A simple and sufficient card reader.

I needed an easy to use multifunctional card reader and gave it a try. It works with all the cards I need. It's bulky, but that makes it difficult to use. If you buy it, be careful not to stumble over it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Poorly designed

2 SD cards damaged; DO NOT BUY!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This reader ruined my two SD cards and took hundreds of photos in the process. Luckily my husband was able to recover the files using recovery software. Otherwise I would be even angrier. Do yourself a favor and spend more money on the best e-reader from a well-known brand.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Almost never

Works great, somehow I didn't understand how to download.

Works great but for some reason I couldn't figure out how to download the camera software onto my MacBook Air. And since it's air and doesn't come with a card reader, this product allowed me to use my USB port as a card reader and it works so well! It's a lot easier than connecting my cameras!

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Good but not great

It worked fine but one day it didn't work and I had to use it as a spare while assembling a new computer. Now I have a built-in adapter. for all my different cards like bin IX & c X & c off and every other Dam card but it did the job I'm not sure I would buy 1 more

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Worked well ONCE for memory card accessories

I got this reader, put an SDHC card in it and hooked it all up to my USB port. The light came on and a second later it appeared on my desktop. miracles, I thought. I left it plugged into the USB port and went about my business. The next morning I see no light or SDHC on my desktop. Hasn't worked since then. I'm glad I didn't pay a fortune for it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Something different

Great way to break free from the plague of Chinese flash drives

The price was right and the card adapter plugged in exactly as advertised. The delivery was fast, the computer reads the card normally. I find it much more economical to buy high capacity SDHC cards to store music, pictures etc. and convert them to USB that way than to buy cheap high capacity USB sticks for this purpose. 120GB flash drives bought in China have an extremely short lifespan in my experience, while SDHC cards are much cheaper and don't need to be removed after being inserted into a

  • expensive insurance

Good or not - card reader

I've had a success rate of about 50% with 8 or 9 of these adapters I've bought. Most failed adapters typically last 2 to 6 weeks, after which you'll see a "device not recognized" error message. I suspect it's a thermal-related issue, as the devices that are still running feel noticeably colder when I unplug them from the USB port. Those that fail are usually hotter to begin with and tend to get hotter a few weeks before failure. Despite this high failure rate, the cameras' memory cards were not
