Sparkling Brilliance: Sargent Art 22-1501 Glitter Gel Pens (10-Count) Review

Will buy again and will buy again and again! IMHO, these are the best glitter pens! I've been using gel pens since the 90's and adult coloring books since 2009, so I've had the chance to try quite a few gel pens in my time. The reason I keep coming back to them is not just because of the shine but I love that they are not in one huge set. I have very mixed feelings about these pens. The colors are AMAZING. The shine is amazing and comes out very well. They write softly, I love writing with them. The biggest problem I have is that each pen (at least the set I received) barely lasted two days. I can almost watch the ink flow out as I write. I wouldn't say I write a lot, but I work in an office and I write all day. I like to use different colors for each day so I can easily identify notes or orders for that day. And who doesn't…

Like most Sargent art supplies, it is a pleasure to paint with. I don't use these pens for feathering, long strokes or outlines, but more for highlighting. I mainly draw facial structures, but I also draw clothing ideas that I make myself. When drawing faces, glitter pens can really brighten the eyes, add cool effects to the hair and hair accessories, and when I draw the whole body with clothes and everything, I can add sparkle to their clothes, jewelry and other accessories.
