At first it seemed to fit well but the handle holding the bulb is too long and heavy making it too easy to fall out of the socket. After a bit of frustration, I realized that the "leg" attached to the fork should be inserted into the faceplate. Loosen the screw on the bezel, install the light and screw the light back on, and it's very strong.

Very strong not cheap plastic, comes with a small metal dowel in the front of the base to hold it in place. When you use it, you have to unscrew the bracket to move it to another slot. I stuck it in the wall right behind a fairly large plant and use it to illuminate the plant. I have a fairly heavy bulb in the socket and it holds it in place.

It does what it's supposed to, holds a bulb and directs the light where you need it.
