Takes getting used to but works great!

Installation was a little more difficult than I expected. It took about an hour to figure everything out. Once you get it working, it works great. I like the brightness level and we really haven't had any issues with it so far. It connects perfectly with our phones, which was amazing.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • doubtful

Works but wish it was brighter

Easy to install (assuming you know the basics of wiring) and works well. There were no problems setting up and controlling the light. I wish it was brighter. 4 inches and 650 lumens isn't enough for an indoor corridor, so I'll probably upgrade to a larger, brighter model. If you need it for good Wi-Fi controlled lighting in a specific area, it works great.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Fair

My first smartlight so I have to get used to it.

Installation was easy for me just by looking. I got my son in law to do it. I looked it up and decided it wasn't a good idea to install it myself. The installation took 90 minutes, but it lights up a corner of my dining room that looks like a cave. I don't understand all the specs so you'll have to read them on the Revain page. He ended up using an old school toggle switch. How it works, well this is my first smart lightbulb and it's taking me some getting used to. I honestly don't like it on…

You Light Up My Downlight

We live in a modern town center house with awfully low cornices. These soffits have a siding underneath that hides the wood panels. We had the most horrible, disgusting lamp there, which gradually became dangerous and just plain rude and ineffective. we need something However, due to the small clearance, we could not use just any device. My husband removed the old lantern and (oddly enough) used a 4" drill bit to drill through everything - the siding. Everyone. I couldn't watch. The box went…
