Superior Brightness and Energy Savings

This halogen bulb provides excellent lighting for any room in your home. It illuminates the space with a warm and bright light that is easy on the eyes. According to my experience, it lasts for an impressive amount of time, making it a great investment. The only drawback I noticed was that it generates a significant amount of heat, but it doesn't seem to pose a safety risk. Overall, this is a fantastic product for anyone looking to update their lighting. Tools and home improvement enthusiasts…

Pros
  • Generates bright light and is dimmable.
Cons
  • Produces a lot of heat during use.

Satco lamps 50W 24V

So far so good. We use these lamps in CNC machines in a sealed lamp housing. As a precaution, we ALWAYS wipe halogen bulbs with isopropyl alcohol to remove any traces of oil which would cause the bulb to rupture and as they are pressurized there is a risk of explosion depending on how they break.

Pros
  • 2000 average operating hours
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Explodes in my face

The lightbulbs I ordered came in a soft envelope but the boxes inside were crushed. The lights seemed to be on time so I plugged in one and flipped the switch and it exploded in front of my nose. I had broken glass in my hair, ears and face. I'm glad I wore glasses. I pulled out the jar for an hour. I will continue to buy lightbulbs from the expensive store in town, they will not explode or cause injury.

Pros
  • Model number: S1987
Cons
  • boring packaging
