The cable is frayed at the ends.

This cable looks like it will survive just about anything, but what you don't realize is that it's starting to fray at the ends. Something that seems common in other reviews. At this point I don't think I would recommend it as it hasn't lasted more than 7 months.

Too new to review

I bought 2 of these cables to replace the USB-C cables supplied by Apple (2018 15.3" MacBook Pro and Late 2018 iPad Pro 12, 9") because they were too short for unlimited use. I like the braided cable and the fact that it's rated for 100 watts, which gives me flexibility as technology advances. I was pleasantly surprised that reusable zip ties were supplied with each cable, a nice touch. Both were in use and had no problems.

I would buy two! Best quality and design.

I have purchased 4 USB cables from different brands for my 2018 MacBook Pro and this is absolutely the best. It fits snugly into the USB-C port of the laptop and charging adapter. The quality and design of the cable is very good and the color matches my MacBook Pro perfectly. The only complaint is about the stiffness of the cable. It is too hard.

The ends immediately began to crumble, very poorly finished.

Please do not purchase this horrible cable. I know it has great specs and looks really sturdy. but look at my photo! I'm very careful with my cables and this thing immediately started fraying/disconnecting from the connector. I'll write it down and let it live as long as I can, but never again!

Amazing Quality Apple Cables OEM

Super high quality, beautiful design, flawless performance. Its price is about the same as an Apple cable and about three times the price. I would buy this cable again at any time. Satechi does good things, I have several of their products and 5 stars for all.

Very strong cable. I used it to charge my USB-C laptop and it worked great. Very durable cable. I used it to charge my USB-C laptop and it worked great. Unfortunately I can't give a good review as I bought it in April 2019 and here I am in November. 2019 with frayed cable. it still works, but you've seen other photos in the reviews showing the same problem as mine; The cable was frayed at one end. I want them to improve the quality control of this product. I think they may know it's not worth the price because I bought it for $20 and it's on sale now for $15.
