Charming, easy to put on and take off, but about 1/2 size smaller. My daughter is a size 10.5 in both the Stride Rite and Saucony and there is a big difference.

Without a doubt they are super cute but we quickly realized that they just have a very stiff sole to be honest! Makes your kids run in an unnaturally blocky way. It is better to choose something flexible, like Nike Free, etc. - our son immediately wanted to run in it. Fashion over functionality just isn't worth it. Damn

This shoe runs small. I bought a 9W but it didn't seem wide at all to me. I ordered a New Balance 515v1 in size 9M and side by side they seem to be about the same size/width (see photo). The Velcro on Saucony didn't even wrap around my baby's legs! It's a shame because I really like the navy blue with red but my toddler said the New Balance was more comfortable so we went with it. I recommend ordering one size larger!

Apparently my son has very big baby feet which I didn't know as I thought all babies have big feet. But after spending half an hour trying to get my son's feet in his shoes each time, and finally getting to the point where they started bothering him after only 15 minutes of wearing them, I googled and found that he needed wide shoes. . I bought these shoes for my 3 year old son who is very bad at shoes. I wanted a reasonably priced shoe that my son could slip on and off by himself, walk around in, and withstand the abuse of a 3 year old.
