Men's 10m is not suitable for 10m walk!

My 25 year love of Saucony ended because of these shoes! At 70, I'd always been a men's 10m racer. Except for these! I liked the Echelon 5 and they fit perfectly as always. Season 6? The front of the shoe extends a full 5/8 inch past my big toe. There is so much extra "textile" in the forefoot of the shoe that it tends to curl rather than stretch. I keep checking the box and then the shoes themselves to make sure it's 11 watts. No, it's always 10 million when I check. My mistake is that I left…

    Pros
    • Amazing comfort
    Cons
    • NOTHING LIKE 5....I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE COMPANY DON'T SAVE WHAT WORKS....RETURN 5

    Decent shoes, abnormal stagger

Echelon 5,7,8 - heavy very wide shoes. 6 is much lighter and not nearly as wide. This shoe is perfect if you like the Saucony 2E running shoes but the midfoot or arch is too narrow. I like the comfort of the new staggers, but find them too loose to walk (requires painfully tight knots and is flexible). . They are lighter, denser, the heel is not so loose. Feels somewhere between Echelon/Triumph/Ritt. On the other hand, Saucony often go 1/2 longer than these shoes. Please take this into account…

    Pros
    • They fit well and are very comfortable even after 8 hours of continuous use.
    Cons
    • Uncomfortable with plantar fasciitis

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Has signs of wear/use

The shoes have cracks in the soles that I get as they start to age. The print on this pair looks like they've been worn for a while but obviously not as heavily worn as mine. This is the fourth pair of these shoes I've owned so I'm fairly familiar with the wearing pattern. I have foot and knee issues and this shoe provides great support and helps with pain when new.

    Pros
    • A little heavy to walk
    Cons
    • Echelon 5 was much better. It looks like Saucony has cut a lot of corners with this new model in its Echelon series.

Hard to find product - my new review

We couldn't find this shoe anywhere then I found this seller and my son is so happy with the purchase. He has autism and sometimes it's hard to get in perfect shape.

    Pros
    • I am very happy with the Saucony Men's Echelon 6 running shoes. They fit perfectly and repeated my well worn pair.
    Cons
    • Poor wear resistance, causing shoes to fall apart after a few uses.

    Worth it for older athletes

Very high quality shoes. I got these for my 75 year old father in law and they worked great. He loves these shoes. The best combination of lightness and strength.

    Pros
    • The only sneakers I buy.
    Cons
    • Insufficient arch support leads to pain and discomfort in the foot.

So good I bought another pair

These tennis shoes fit better than anything I've ever had. So good that when I lost them while hiking I bought the same ones. The comfort is exceptional. I highly recommend them.

    Pros
    • Can't beat the price
    Cons
    • Too narrow in the midfoot, causing discomfort when walking.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

I have a painful callus on my right foot.

Bought a Saucony looking for a shoe for heavy runners (350 pounds and up) with an air running effect like I bought with the Saucony 2000 in the 80's. According to the criteria of the time, I came across the Echelon 6. It really makes walking easier. run with frumpy ones but these shoes are nothing like the ones I bought on the way back. The reduced price of $75 is worth it, but I'll keep looking and maybe find these Saucony shoes that have the comfort I remember. I wish you success.

    Pros
    • Received quickly and it fits perfectly. It's hard to find a cheap pair of oversized sneakers.
    Cons
    • Uncomfortable fit that causes blisters and discomfort on long runs.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as good as 5, skip them and just buy 8

I had 5 and they were great but I needed new ones so I figured they would be the same if not better but they aren't. They're more like old rides which are ok but not the relays I'm used to. For me, the steps are an upgrade because they have better support, a better toe box, and more cushioning. I went and bought 8 and they are more than I expected. The fit, padding, support etc are worth it because let's face it if you can't run/walk in them then what's the point.

    Pros
    • Great shoes - I run in them seven miles a day.
    Cons
    • Limited color options for customers to choose from

    Disappointed in your opinion

The shoes are too small. I usually wear size 15W, this shoe is neither wide nor long. I would like to know what happened to Saucony for this model.

    Pros
    • very good show
    Cons
    • Heavy and bulky design that adds extra weight while running

I wear orthotics. I first wore an Echelon a few years ago and ordered the Echelon 6 to replace the Echelon 5 which was dying for me. The 6 is in no way comparable to the quality of the 5. I need to remove the insoles to accommodate my orthopedic insoles. There was so much volume in the shoe that I could never get a tight fit. Additionally, the midsole 5 was of much better quality to add support and stability to my orthotics. 6 is made in Vietnam. 5 made in China. When I opened the box and…

    Pros
    • Very comfortable and inexpensive.
    Cons
    • Poor workmanship, which causes the shoes to wear out quickly.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

    Very disappointed with the durability

The shoes are less than 2 months old and the sole is already coming off. Wouldn't buy again. Very disappointed with the durability of this shoe

    Pros
    • This is my third pair and if I see them running out I'll probably buy a few pairs and stock up.
    Cons
    • Insufficient space for the toes, resulting in toe strain and discomfort.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Excellent support in my review.

I bought these shoes for my husband who has ankle problems. He finds they offer great support and hasn't had ankle pain since wearing them.

    Pros
    • The same as Echelon 5
    Cons
    • The lack of design features that make it difficult to adapt to individual needs.

Saucony - nothing more for runners

Wore Saucony for 20 years and then they ruined the midsole by removing the scallop. Now I can't even walk in them because they put so much pressure on the outside of my foot. Switched to ASICS Kayano. Saucony will stop trying to be Nike/fashion shoes and go back to sneakers.

    Pros
    • Great shoes. Worth the price.
    Cons
    • Narrow width that does not fit people with wider feet.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Attention - most likely a fake

After about a month, the logo on the side of one of the sneakers started peeling off. Also, the color on both shoes started to fade.

    Pros
    • A little wide in the fingers.
    Cons
    • Poor traction on wet and slippery surfaces increases the risk of injury

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Changed for the worse

I really liked my Echelon 5. While the Echelon 6 looks similar to the 5s, it's an odd size. I have a solid 10. Tens were too low and 10.5 was too high. I returned to my trusty Asics GT-1000.

    Pros
    • Great fit, very comfortable shoes. I will buy again.
    Cons
    • Lack of flexibility, making it difficult to perform fast and agile movements

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Very good experience

I have been running Saucony Echelon for many years and moving from one generation to the next/previous. Therefore, it is very convenient to order online without any surprises.

    Pros
    • This is the second pair, they fit well, lots of cushions and right price.
    Cons
    • Poor cushioning that causes hard impacts on joints and muscles when running.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Best show of flat feet

I've been using the Saucony for over 20 years and it's the best shoe for my flat feet and I've met others who have said the same. Designed specifically for people with flat feet, the Echelon works great for me without my arch. I would recommend these shows to anyone

    Pros
    • I'm happy with the shoes, the width is very important to me, they don't disappoint.
    Cons
    • Short lifespan compared to other brands running shoes.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very badly done. in my rating

The sole started to come off the shoe 3 days after purchase! Sent the shoes back and got a replacement as I thought the item was defective. The second pair did the same! Now, after 3 weeks, the outer fabric is also torn! I am extremely disappointed.

    Pros
    • My sweetie usually wears 11-11.5 EE but 12.5 fits perfectly.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with flat feet as it does not provide adequate support.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoe price and flawless return and exchange process!

I usually have to go to the store to make sure I'm in the right place. So I had to return the first pair. These shoes run half a size smaller. The difference between 9 and 9.5 is huge! I like Saucony shoes because of the larger toe box. I really liked the shoes and the return/exchange process is so easy and flawless now!

    Pros
    • Great athletic shoe, wide midsole for pronators.
    Cons
    • Saucony's poor customer service when asking for advice or support

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Less comfortable than expected

The product arrives quickly and without problems. Before this pair I had Echelon 5's and they were much more comfortable.

    Pros
    • Great shoes
    Cons
    • Lack of breathability, making feet hot and sweaty when running.
