    Solid support! in my rating

This shoe is a solid support. I have foot problems and now have two pairs of Echelon. At work I stand a lot during the day. I recommend this shoe.

    Pros
    • This is the only shoe that withstands my typical heavy use on the inside of the sole.
    Cons
    • It may take some time to get used to until it is comfortable to wear

    Good product. in my rating

Good product. This type of shoe was selected and endorsed by local retailer Running Jogging over two years ago. Was glad to see the product is still available. I have ordered two pairs. I needed orthopedic shoes with more support as I have weak ankles and roll over when walking.

    Pros
    • I am very satisfied with this product
    Cons
    • May not provide sufficient durability for avid runners or those who frequently engage in high-impact activities.

    Longtime fan in my opinion

I've been a fan of Saucony for many years. They are durable and comfortable for walking. I have never been disappointed.

    Pros
    • The Saucony Echelon 7 feels great when I go for a run. It's soft and very supportive.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for cross-country or cross-country running.

Great fit! .... in my review.

The shoes are beautiful and light. Goes really well with my full body insoles and has plenty of room in the toe box. I removed the factory insole for my custom orthotics, but I will say that if I didn't have custom orthotics, the factory ones look very comfortable and comfortable.

    Pros
    • The Saucony Echelon 7 Men's Running Shoe is built to last. The shoe's durable construction and high-quality materials make it a solid choice for long-term use. This makes them a great investment for runners looking for a reliable pair of training shoes.
    Cons
    • May not offer enough versatility for those involved in multiple exercise types.

    Just my opinion

I usually buy the Triumph line because I need a pillow but this was the cheaper option and I decided to give it a try. Cushioning is good but not enough for me, an overweight runner who spends most of his time on pavement. However, when I run on the treadmill, I love it. The shoes fit great and as expected I bought several pairs in store and ordered the same size online. Quality shoes with about 100 miles and no issues with stitching or materials.

    Pros
    • Great shoes. Fits my needs. I have to change my other shoes because of heel pain.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with flat feet or low arches.

    Very comfortable shoes

These shoes have really improved my ability to walk and run on both the track and treadmill. Other shoes would hurt my feet or lower legs after a long or intense workout, but these seem to have just the right amount of cushioning and support, especially for tall/tall people. They seem to work well on all surfaces and don't make my feet sweat.

    Pros
    • An advanced cushioning system helps absorb shock and impact, reducing stress on joints and minimizing the risk of injury. This makes it the perfect choice for runners who need extra support on their action days.
    Cons
    • May not last as long as other sneaker brands or styles

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Saucony sneakers suit me

I have worn this brand for many years. This is my first pair of echelons. It reminds me of the first time I've bought a Saucony since!

    Pros
    • Great comfort
    Cons
    • May not provide adequate breathability for those with sweaty feet.

    Broke after 2 months

I really liked them until they broke. Very disappointed. I believe they cost $70 and only lasted 2 months. I called the company but I don't expect any help.

    Pros
    • Great shoe for hiking, jogging and general activity.
    Cons
    • May not provide enough cushioning for people who get hit hard while running.

Was surprised to see the area of the shoe is constantly across as it heals, a few pairs poorly stitched where they connect at the back of the shoe. More than 3 years of consecutive models. same result for 1 of 2 shoes.

    Pros
    • Very comfortable with good support and nice appearance.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with orthopedic problems or who require additional support

    Excellent product in my review

The Saucony Echelon 7 is well made and easily holds orthopedic insoles. However, the fit and performance of the Saucony Echelon 6 is identical. The only difference I can see between Saucony Echelon 7 and Saucony Echelon 6 is the color. I would advise saving money and buying a Saucony Echelon 6.

    Pros
    • not hacked yet
    Cons
    • May not fit true to size and may need to be ordered a half size larger or smaller

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

ideal for people with flat feet

I have horrible flat feet and used to wear custom orthotics when I was young. This time I looked for running shoes for those who have a broken arch and saw that they are recommended. I've been riding them about 10 miles a week for the last month and my knees will never know. You seem to be walking on clouds.

    Pros
    • I love these sneakers. The second time we are buying for our son who has a flat arch.
    Cons
    • The laces can easily come loose while running.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not the quality I expect from Saucony

It's been a few months since I bought these shoes and they're not holding up well. Probably the worst pair of Saucony shoes I've ever owned.

    Pros
    • 4 out of 5 great shoes
    Cons
    • The price may be prohibitive for some buyers

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Saucony has been my #1 running shoe for over 25 years!

Excellent cushioning, comfortable fit and light weight for this type of running shoe. The Echelon 7 is designed for supination and high arch. This works well for me so I don't need high arched insoles. Highly recommended.

    Pros
    • very comfortable and supportive shoes. this is my second pair in the same style. will buy again.
    Cons
    • There were no metal or plastic grommets in the string holes, it looks like they won't hold up. I am considering adding my own.

    great shoes new review

These are the only shoes I can wear when my feet hurt and they really make me feel better! The icing on the cake is the soft insole. I've tried others, but Echelon beats them all for me.

    Pros
    • I bought this item as a Christmas present and it was the perfect shoe for it.
    Cons
    • May not provide adequate ankle support for those with previous ankle injuries.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Disappointing changes in quality and feel

When you put the shoes on for the first time, they are quite comfortable, but once they are broken in, you will feel the uneven design of the insole. If you pull out the liner, you'll find that the shoe's biggest "comfort" comes from the thick toe box, and the construction under the box is suspect. I had an Echelon 6 and wore it with no problems. I realize the E7 has taken a step back in quality and materials. Compared to the E6, the E7 feels plasticky and cheap.

    Pros
    • No complaints, they are comfortable and I love wearing them.
    Cons
    • May not provide adequate support for overpronators

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Disappointed: my rating

The Saucony Echelon 7 is not as comfortable as the 5. The 7 has a narrower toe box than the 5. The 5 has better cushioning and support. Quality 5 is also better. I've worn the 7 a few times and I'm still not as good as the 5. I lost $129.

    Pros
    • Very stable shoe
    Cons
    • Can be uncomfortable for a long period of time

    Perfect fir for my feet

I chose the oversized Saucony Echelon 7. I'm a pretty big guy. 6'1", 240 lbs. This is my second pair after two years of great wearing with the original navy pair. Great comfort, quality, support and durability. Fits great right out of the box.

    Pros
    • There's nothing not to love about it. I have been using Echelons for many years.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with wider feet or those who prefer a roomier fit.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Bravery is terrible

Excellent running shoes. Terrible persistence. Fell apart in the shoe after less than 100km. i'm a big guy 260 pounds. The ankle support is weak so the shoes kept falling apart inside. Appealed to Saukoni. I took pictures and they replaced them. The same happened less than a month later. I never called them again and will never buy them again.

    Pros
    • Stylish look. The shoe's sleek and modern design makes it a stylish choice for avid runners and everyday wearers alike. The subtle combination of gray and black is versatile and easy to combine with a variety of training and casual outfits.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for vegans - contains animal products.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Suitable for the big ones, won't last

The shoes are less than a year old and the back heel has already cracked, the sole has started to chip off the boot. Very comfortable for everyday use but not for long.

    Pros
    • Lightweight and very comfortable... an extra cushion for cushioning when running.
    Cons
    • May not provide adequate cushioning for those with joint pain or arthritis

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoe for those of us with special ops.

I was struggling to find shoes to wear my custom insoles. Realizing that they had a neutral stance, I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. My insole fits snugly and I no longer have the fatigue I get from other positive or negative stance shoes. I liked them so much that I bought another pair. I just want them to be all black.

    Pros
    • Best in Niche
    Cons
    • Weak
