The dog chewed them up. Read why

Walked about 60 miles, mostly walking but a few runs. After about 2 weeks I noticed that the inside of the heel was wearing out. After about 60 miles, the fabric on the heels completely ripped, resulting in a blister on my right heel. After the whole boot was covered in blood, my dog found the bloody boot and tore the heel to shreds. 60 days after purchase I am looking for a new pair of shoes.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • So-so

Comfortable but oversized

This is my 6th pair in the ISO shoe family along with several other pairs of Saucony shoes that are true to size. This version is over a half size. Too bad I didn't try them on, but I was too excited to follow in these bad boys footsteps and quickly realized that they were a bit sloppy and didn't look like versions 1 and 2. However, they all feel comfortable in different ways. Just make sure you try them on, or go down a size if you're used to Saucony sizing.

Great buy for shoes

Bought these for a stay in Portland Oregon and was very pleased. They are comfortable, true to size and, thanks to the deep lugs, very grippy and stable on rocks and mud. Plenty of pillows make the step springy, and while they're a little heavier than some, you hardly notice it (you can feel it a little on the sidewalk). One downside is that they aren't really the prettiest, but that didn't really bother me when I bought them.

Pros

Cons
  • Not bad

Soft gait but with ankle support. I wish I had ordered more at this price. Large toe box, fits 1-0.5 sizes more than other sneakers. The ankle closure is great though. Scale down this year's model (iso 3) and you should be happy. Are there comparable road bike shoes? Please make these shoes with street tread. I will buy with pleasure. The most comfortable shoes I have. I use a mixed route of fast hiking and hiking with some loop trails. I'm not sure about the rain resistance yet, but they seem…

Runs small, order one size larger!

shoes provide excellent heel support for those who pronate or supinate. Cushioning is adequate but with a 0.4 drop at the toes. Great workmanship can be seen/feel on most shoes, but the eyelets for the laces are made of a hard/brittle plastic. The mesh on the toe is made up of several layers to withstand some pressure. BIGGEST CONS: They run small and taper in the toe area. Order one size larger. If you have wide feet, anywhere near the D, these shoes will kill your feet. They are narrow AF…

Recheck - Low drop (4mm) and reinforced outer shell

Recheck: 5 stars to 2 stars in a few weeks. I hate that I need a shoehorn to put these shoes on every time. They are very heavy (12.9 oz), too heavy for my liking. I still like how the outer shell is reinforced, but in the end it added way too much weight for my liking. can collide with rocks or wooden walls (imagine an obstacle course). Check out these shoes on RunRepeat.com for more info. The leg insertion hole is narrow but manageable. Due to the design there is no loose tongue of the shoe…

Be willing to compromise to become really persistent.

After three months of dry, wet and snowy weather I'm not sure if the extra tread is worth the extra weight. I bought these shoes because I run very rocky trails and wanted something that would really grip in a variety of conditions. Unfortunately, being a fairly thick sole, I lose the ground feel that my other shoes provide, which negates the benefit of the extra grip. I feel like I twist my ankles a little more in them than in other shoes. The extra traction of the outsole also seems to come…

  • Lots of positive vibes

  • No performance

too long Clothing, shoes and jewelry

I agree with the reviews about going one size smaller. Definitely longer than my other 10s. But I'm not sure if they are wider. I didn't want to order a size smaller because my little finger was pressed too hard against the edge. I also had a very bad cure and one that didn't. I'm having issues with slip healing on some boots. The upper is mesh and stretchy, with no tongue. Makes them a little difficult and there is no loop to aid healing. Many people like shoes. If I can find one in the store…
