Nice bookcase for the price. The wood was darker than pictured due to the mahogany color with lots of brown and no red undertones. It looks more like a deep cherry forest. I was a little disappointed that the backing was cardboard and not chipboard, but as I store books it's not noticeable. The product is quite durable and easy to assemble. Generally high ratings.

Seems to be holding up well, looks like the picture. Assembly is easy, just make sure to line up the pieces beforehand and make sure they mirror each other or it will get wobbly (the top and bottom holes in part A aren't the same distance from the edge, they have a top and bottom edge of sorts). Bottom secret, it won't be clear until you assemble it wrong.)

This product was very easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear and concise. The only thing I would change is the back of the device as it is just a piece of cardboard. But given the fact that he's against a wall and out of sight, I guess it doesn't matter. I am very happy with this product, the price was right and it is of better quality than what I have seen in local big stores.

Prices keep going up and colors are changing. It's hard to compare bookshelves bought 5 years ago to what's available now, but I found something very similar. I now have some books lined up against one wall and one bookshelf for the "kitchen pantry" and another for tins. When you live from a disability in a government-subsidized housing, storage is very important, and these bookshelves really help.

This. Bookshelf. Very cheap bookcase. It works. Everything is OK. These are fast food bookshelves. This is a laminated/veneered chipboard and straight thin cardboard on the back. No pre-drilled holes (which is my least favorite) so it takes two people to hold the parts steady while the other uses all their strength to drive the screws in. If you screw it up, it will split the board. Would I buy this again? Probably no.

I would give 5 stars but the shelf back is terrible! It confuses me that everything else is pretty sturdy but the back is very flimsy flimsy cardboard. My boxes are much stronger. It even tore a little before I pinned it down. When inserting the shelves, I had to be careful not to press them into the back wall, otherwise they would break. I would buy another one but let the manufacturer fix that!

My friend needed a bookshelf for all his big RPG books and this bookshelf definitely fit the script. It is durable even after assembly and the wood is of good quality. My only problem is closing the screws. The bookshelves I own have various screw covers that can be inserted into the screws. However, this one has stickers that do not stick. Therefore the screws are visible. My friend is fine, but I'm worried.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. I wasn't expecting the bookshelf to be top notch considering the price, but it's terrible and deserves 0 stars. I used to collect toys and furniture and it was very difficult in comparison. Many of the holes on the two side panels were uneven and could not be aligned despite several attempts over an hour.
