An excellent grater is the best thing in the kitchen and dining room

Great grater - so good that we have been giving it away for years. Not great for a lot of cheese (holds about a cup or so) and you have to be careful not to accidentally rub your knuckles (the grater is sharp), but there's a good grater.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear

Love this product, wish it wasn't so expensive

I bought this from HomeGoods years ago and it's my favorite grater. When I was looking for a new one, I saw this on Amazon and bought it immediately. Although it was almost double what I paid for HomeGoods. I wish it wasn't so expensive.

Pros
  • Nice workmanship
Cons
  • No

Great for cheese but not so good for the skin!

It has a nice design and the blade cover and 'drip tray' on the bottom make it a handy tool. The caveat, however, is that the blade is quite rough, and when used for cutting, the pith is inevitably involved in the process. I'll probably limit its use to cheese, onions and the like, leaving my trusty Microplane for the spiciness.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
