Amazing soundbar!: Home audio

I've bought the Sonos Beam before, but I've tried it and couldn't justify the $400 Sonos price tag when it's under $100 at Costco/Walmart lies. I can also control it with my Apple TV remote and it turns on automatically when you press the volume buttons on any remote! I've attached a video review, if it helps make sure it helps :D

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

It's not good if you want to turn up the volume, otherwise it's fine

Pretty disappointed. Too much treble and the bass is frustrating and muddy. It sounds like the speakers are about to burst at any moment as you turn up the volume, even after playing with the EQ (which has very little control). I just think if you have the ability to turn up the volume the speakers should support it (it's metal, not hip hop or anything). I have another Vizio soundbar and love it, but I couldn't find this model anymore. I'm very disappointed with this model but I find it better…

Good value but meets your expectations

It's good enough for the price but not as good as I was hoping. It works best at a volume that's too loud for my small living room. At a lower volume, you don't get the benefit of a soundbar over the built-in speakers in a TV. That's fine for music too, but I have a small Bose wireless speaker and overall the sound quality is much better. Also, the controls on the soundbar, which are small white LEDs, are confusing even with instructions. I know this may seem like a nitpicking and possibly…

No Volume Wobble Room

This is actually a great soundbar, but it has one fatal flaw: there's no room to change the volume. The optical audio coming from my Vizio PQ65-F1 has a preset speed that cannot be adjusted, so all adjustments have to be made through the soundbar. This is all great and to be expected. The problem is that the volume range on the soundbar is 0-100, but the only comfortable, acceptable listening levels that won't bother the neighbors are 1-6. Volumes 7-100 are too loud. If 4 is too quiet and 5 is…

Music is not my forte

The product looks nice and connects easily, but makes a rattling noise with every hit that completely spoils the listening experience. I believe that my product was delivered with a defect. Also, as another review says, the volume controls don't work. There are too many differences in the first 7 clicks that are used the most. EDIT: The seller quickly exchanged the device. In fact, the first one that was delivered was defective and made a rattling sound with every hit. The new one doesn't…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in white

So it took me about 5 minutes before I decided to box it up and get a refund. The sound quality itself isn't bad, and it's not a bad price, but the soundbar basically has two volume levels, whisper and earbang. Another reviewer said the same thing and I thought they were just being touchy and I figured it couldn't be that bad but I should have listened to them. It really is the difference between not hearing anything unless there is absolute silence around you, and being so loud you have to…

Good soundbar for the price, BUT…

I bought it for two reasons, 1) to combine a medium-sized sound in one device. This way I don't have to run extra cables or have a wireless controlled subwoofer. 2) should work seamlessly with my Vizio TV which has smart cast and can be controlled with Alexa. The first was correct! Great sound for the price, perfect for a room this size and I wholeheartedly agree with all previous accolades. That's about the song. However, the second point is much more disappointing. It turns out that I'm…

Great sounding and cool looking soundbar at a great price!

I bought this for my playroom/bedroom TV along with a 40 inch Sony TV. Right off the bat, this soundbar is at least 2 years old and I believe it has since been technically replaced by the Vizio M-Series All-In-One Soundbar for just $30. So if you want the latest and greatest, go for it. Newer ones also had HDMI-ARC, while the best connection with this one is optical. The reason I went with it is because it's easier to connect to my Logitech Harmony Hub. Most newer Vizio soundbars use a small…
