A real brush that stimulates the scalp

I think I'll have to order about 2 more of these brushes as I couldn't find a nylon bristle brush in pharmacies. The boar bristles don't even touch my scalp. I understand that boar bristles are better for the hair. But I haven't had a problem with hair fall and have been using nylon bristle brushes for as long as I can remember. My hair is not very thick, it depends on how long I permed! LAUGH OUT LOUD! But this brush combs well and feels good on my scalp no matter how long I've been "touching…

Durability is an understatement

This brush is for you. How on earth did it get good reviews? I'm by no means a gentle lover, but this brush is hard as hell on the scalp! It literally isn't meant to be "smooth," which is the only reason I bought it. I was looking for something similar to Goody, this is NOT it. If you want a brush that makes you feel like your scalp is being removed, be sure to buy one. If you want your scalp to be healthy and not red and irritated / your hair not moving because the bristles are pulling it in a

Nice stiff bristles

Great price. perfect size Comfortable to hold. The bristles are stiffer than I expected. I'm used to brushing with little effort because I have long hair that sometimes gets tangled when I sleep and stiffer bristles would pull my hair out. To solve the pulling problem, I cut off 7 inches. It's also a great brush for a teething puppy. For real. She chews aggressively, manages to snatch my brush off the vanity and chews off the handle. A few light chewing marks. Can still be used. I do not…

MARVELOUS! Feels like my grandma's brush years ago!

I wasn't sure I would get much from this brush because of the low price, but it costs 10x the price. I was totally surprised that it reached my head with my thick hair, just like it did when I was a kid with the comb my grandmother used for my waist-length hair. This was one of my best purchases from Revain. If you dream of a comb powerful enough to detangle your thick hair and stimulate your scalp like brushes did a long time ago, you really should get this one. I was looking for one that…

Finally a comb that goes through my hair!

This brush bears the exact name: Scalpmaster! It's been so long since I've found a comb that ran down my hair that I've actually felt it on my head. I don't have thick hair, but I have a lot of hair and it's wavy. Most combs don't even penetrate the outer layer of my hair, let alone my scalp. But this brush does! Now I can do my 100 strokes every night again.

good value but too scratchy for kids

I was looking for a comb for kids with fine hair - something between a paddle brush and a baby brush that will hold water when rinsed under the tap, to tame hair the next morning after washing, does not itch the scalp and does not contain boar bristles (rough, cruel). This brush ticks all the boxes except it's a little scratchy. It is not too hard and not too soft and is also suitable for thicker hair. So it's still ok as an extra brush (I bought a few different types) and costs $4. I found…
