Great Deal

I've always wondered how many needles are used in a project. I learned long ago to use fresh needles when in doubt. Sometimes when you think the tension on the machine may have gone loose, it's the wrong needle. I like the assortment and bulk purchases. Would definitely recommend to others who sew or quilt.

Pros
  • Fits all household models Brother, Janome, Singer, Pfaff, Bernina, Viking, Elna, Kenmore, Baby Lock, Simplicity, Necchi, White and many more.
Cons
  • Little things

The only brand of quilting needles I buy!

This listing contains 3 packs of 5 quilting needles each, for a total of 15 quilting needles. So far I have only received 10 quilting needles. I like the brand of quilting needles. That's the only brand I buy. Other brands don't last as long or ruin the fabric I'm working with.

Pros
  • Specially designed for sewing and machine quilting
Cons
  • Socket required

Product not as advertised

The description mentions a 3 pack that I was planning to buy. Only one package arrived. I don't know what's wrong - description or delivery. It's not a quality issue as this brand's needles have been tested for a long time, but what they describe is a bit misleading compared to what you actually get.

Pros
  • The shank (top) of these needles has a flat side and a rounded side.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Wow! Terrible

I love Schmetz needles but it was a horrible trip to get three packs (15) of different quilting needles. There were 3 orders for these needles and wasted several weeks of time. The first 1 resulted in them sending me 1 of 3 packs of needles. The second time it got lost in the mail so I got 0 out of 3, the third time I got 1 out of 3 again. So I got a total of 2 out of the 3 packs of needles I paid for. Overall 10 out of 15. I don't understand all of this.

Pros
  • 9 needles #75/11 for light fabrics and 6 needles #90/14 for medium weight fabrics
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
