I had more fun sewing with these SCHMETZ needles.

It's so nice that you don't have to run to the fabric store to get another needle. There are 100 needles of the right size in my sewing box! I have set up a system where I change needles every 8 (or so) sewing hours. It's better for my sewing, it's better for my machine, MUCH better for my patience. I highly recommend Schmetz. I highly recommend always having several sewing needles of the right size on hand. I sew on Singer. He also likes Schmetz.

Pros
  • Sewing machine needles
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Needle is missing from supposedly new article in a pack of 100

I am a verified buyer of this SCHMETZ Needles 80/12 Universal. I haven't flashed them yet, but I will say that this is a novelty. That's not true because I counted that box of needles three times and there were only 99 needles in that box. So I just hope that when I go sewing with them it's not a box of old used needles. It won't be good at all. Thank goodness I have until January 2021 to send them back if they don't sew to my liking as I know SCHMETZ is a great brand of home sewing needles.

After you sewed some parts of the quilt together, the needle started making a dull sound when going through regular cotton fabric (you know the needle makes a sound when you need to change needles). I have never used and thought about using Schmetz needles. would save me some money; but if the needles only stay sharp 1/5 the time than needles in a single pack then that costs me more than buying separate packs which are much easier to use and dose. I…
