Exactly what we wanted and expected based on the product description. We have a variety of black, purple and pink colors. It was recommended by an OT specialist at my daughter's school to help her grab a pencil in kindergarten. She seems to be improving her form after three months of daily use.

This is a great product. Very simple design, but comfortable in the hand. I bought these to teach my 7 year old daughter how to hold a pencil. They are really interchangeable right-handed/left-handed. They are all approximately 3" x 2" x 1.7" long and are made of silicone which provides a comfortable and snug grip for your pens. For the last year and a half I've bought my first year a set of pencil holders because they had a TERRIBLE grip and usually everything that came with it also had a horrible grip right over it the other. OT recommended this style to us, and I was skeptical that he would continue to ignore the grip and hold the pen the way he wanted. It really works to get the right tripod grip.
