Overall I like the tire. However, it is heavy and damn difficult to assemble. Excellent grip and smooth ride. angles are good.

There is something wrong with the batch I received. I have two different tires. Both seeped into the tread and blistered all over the tread. Also, the sidewalls leaked non-stop and I filled up many tread blocks in just 2 rides. Don't buy this.

I love the grip the Magic Mary offers. Areas where I had control problems are no longer a problem. I feel better on the MTB with the Magic Mary because of my front tire. The north east roots and rocks flowing through the muddy areas are thrown into some steep back and forth turns!

Spent a month reading reviews of ALL front tires from all manufacturers and finally settled on the Magic Maria. Wow what tires. I took it today for the first lap on my local trails and the grip is unreal. By the end of the ride, I was cornering faster than ever. What confidence that the tire will last, no matter what. I recommend only the front tire for now!

The Magic Mary version of Vertstar has very predictable grip, even in loose Southwest conditions and especially on slippery rock. Possibly the stickiest slick tire I've ridden, and the Super Gravity casing has been of great use to me so far (and I'm a pretty heavy guy who rides rough terrain that destroys tires). The catch is that they aren't cheap and the Vertstar tires wear out very quickly, so I can't give them 5 stars.
