This is a very high quality hair coloring product, 5-00 is designed for double coverage of gray hair and lasts longer. It didn't smell and didn't dry out my hair. I used to use Goldwell hair colors but switched to this brand for covering gray hair because of its quality and durability.

I turn grey/white very easily these days and have dark brown hair, this is very dark and covers gray very well although it leaves my hair a bit purple/too dark I add 1 /2 teaspoons 6.55 to my 50/50 mix of this developer. I love how my hair feels silky and smooth after using this product.

Color purchased 5.o, darker than expected. My hair is shiny and covers gray well. Without smell. Would buy again but probably mix with a lighter color.
