ScorpionEXO EXO-AT950 Shield (Silver Mirror) Review

The visor is really great from an aesthetic point of view. However, a heavy insect infestation can and will destroy the visor's paint and leave a dark stain that not only looks ugly, but will be constantly visible while driving. Driving in the rain is also not recommended, as dirt from the road can also attack the yellow film and leave unsightly stains.

Update: I love this helmet and visor. I installed a completely scratch-free clear visor and another one as a spare. The gold colored visor is what I need for all conditions. Well I really like the mirrored look of my helmet. I prefer smoke gray lenses but the other face shield lens was too dark for me. Sometimes I drive at night and I don't need to mix the tint of my goggles with the tint of my glasses too much. My only complaint is that the mirror surface scratches easily. My clear face shield, which has suffered from the same number of rides, doesn't have the visible scratches that a mirrored face shield has in the same amount of time.

Silver looks great and matches the AT950 helmet perfectly with no gaps. I've only used the original clear visor since I got the helmet last year and decided the helmet was good enough to invest in replacement visors. This instantly makes my AT-950 so much better. The only problem was visibility when driving at night. If you're driving through town, it's not bad at all. This only slightly restricts driving in completely black places, such as country roads or forests.
