🦾 Enhanced Safety and Style: ScorpionEXO EXO-C110 Helmet Review

Apparently Scorpion have changed the size of their helmets. The big one is a little tight compared to my other Scorpion. I'm sure it will break after a while. If I had to do it again, I would go for the XL.

It's not the manufacturer's fault I have tinnitus. Wind noise was a problem for me. The helmet is excellent, nicely made, beautiful. This and most likely ALL half helmets are not for me. This is my fault and I should have known better. I was just optimistically hoping for a cooler helmet for summer.

Helmet looks good quality. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of the size. I measured the size twice and ordered according to the size chart. The size runs small, so I recommend ordering a size up. The chuck was also off center by 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It wasn't much, but enough to bother me.

First of all for anyone having trouble fitting their head to size SML-XL in a helmet: My head (including my thick hair) is 22.5 inches , about an inch higher my eyebrows because that's where the underside of the helmet pad touches my forehead. This plus size helmet fits me perfectly. The retractable visor is easy to operate even with gloves on - just squeeze the lever and it slowly goes down, push back until it clicks to put it back in place. I have set up my communication system. This took about 10 minutes. There is NO zipper on the neck curtain so I had to figure out how to place the speakers in small earcups and hide the cables. Success. I had to remove the "pouffe" speaker covers and they fit like a glove. Love the ventilation, it cools an old skull on a hot riding day and was imperceptible on a cooler evening.
