My '96 jeep xj had the original cassette deck with the wiring intact. This adapter works great with the Pioneer head unit and speakers I have installed.

Wiring harness consists of a molex connector with 13 color coded wires. The colors are different so connections can be made easily. The contacts are firmly fixed in the plastic housing. The cable ends are already stripped, so you don't have to strip the cables yourself. The only suggestion that I think could improve the product is that the manufacturer pre-tin the ends of the wire (of course the user can easily tin the wires).
