Fits perfectly in a compartment. The only thing I would advise is to be very careful when installing as the top and side panels are connected by very little plastic and are quite fragile, but once installed they look solid.

I bought this to install in my 1996 Eclipse GSX. It fits perfectly and was not damaged like others on arrival. Supplied with instructions in sealed plastic bag. The lugs are flimsy as others have said so be careful when installing or they will fit perfectly and look amazing.

I would give this product 5 stars apart from two small issues - a small plastic border on the picture surrounding the main unit - in my case (with Pioneer) it doesn't sit narrow and protrudes at the top and bottom, which is not noticeable unless you look for it. - The mounting plastic is a little flimsy but has held up well for the past 3 months. I would buy it again.

Get it from the DSM guy - this thing fits like complete crap. You failed to mention that you need the original metal grommet for the head unit (which I haven't had in 7 years) for this kit to work. The plastic mounts are flimsy and cheap, the gaps around the radio bezel are uneven, and the kit lacks the "rear mount radio mounts" which the kit says it should use but isn't included and isn't available from Scosche. Great fit and fit. My eclipse had an old generic dashboard kit with no bag, it came out flimsy and looked very basic. I wanted a one din kit that uses the extra space as a bag. The bag is perfect for my phone, now I don't have to fumble around and have extra storage space. The brackets are very strong.
