I bought this to replace my very reliable GPS mount solution with proclip to replace the GPS on my phone. I followed the instructions in the manual that came with it and also watched the video. I installed it on an existing pro clip mount. I left it untouched overnight to allow the glue to dry. The next day I test my spare Google Pixel XL with the mount. Absolutely terrible product. I have a friend who has it and it's magical. She has a huge iPhone, a pretty thick phone case, and her phone ALWAYS sticks to its mount. Never slips off the mount easily when driving, stopping or turning. On the other hand, mine is not on the socket.
