Perfect combination of dashboard with Subaru Legacy. Perfect color match. If you are a professional you will understand that to get them out you have to remove all the screws on the old radio and temperature controls. Once you connect the two din radio. You will need to put the radio back in place and re-tighten the screws. A little tricky but not too bad if you take your time. It looks like there will be a two din radio installed from the factory once you're done.

    Great for custom radios

Very reliable product. Very easy to install. If you have any doubts about your ability to install this, there are videos on Youtube to help you with this. The fit has been very good in both Outbacks I've installed this in and the looks are very close to the OEM. Can't confirm the radio setup, on mine I moved the radio to the top center vent/pocket panel and the info center to a 3D printed Scosche faceplate.

Works Great - Auto & Automotive Electronics

Essential for any aftermarket installation. Allows the installation of one and two DIN blocks in the car. Pros - The color match is almost perfect. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed this. I wasn't expecting much from a €30 piece. All threaded holes match well. I had no trouble installing screws. Cons - the holes for everything don't line up perfectly. All of the buttons and dials go through, but they're noticeably closer to one side of the hole. Pages don't seem to align. The original…

Overall a good product but needs some modification to make it fit.

generally fits the 2007 Outback, but you'll need to massage it a bit to match the fairing around it. The color match is perfect and if you didn't know it was out of stock you wouldn't know. Some notable cons: 1. If you have a 2-din stereo with a foldable or tilting screen, this won't work without modification - you'll have to trim some plastic on the back of the panel (at the bottom of the 2-din) for the connection hole ).2. the air conditioning and other controls are a little more "recessed"…

5i is not good. All buttons stick when pressed

I think it works but it doesn't fit my 2005 Outback 2.5i. All buttons stick when pressed because the holes are slightly offset. I guess it's not a big deal for the danger button since it's rarely used. But the air conditioning button and defrost buttons are a lot more annoying. You have to click on the trim around them to make them go up. Also, the "wooden" trim strips on the sides of this faceplate no longer sit completely flush. Maybe I could use a rubber mallet to hammer them in place, but I

    Excellent fit and finish!

This is an amazing part for the aftermarket installation of my son's new 2006 Outback stereo. I wanted to replace the standard radio with one with a Bluetooth headset and iPhone control. So after searching the internet I found this article for the car. Metra does it too, but this device is a bit different. This one uses standard metal brackets for the air conditioning system and is very durable. The device fits like a glove and is perfect in color and finish. Truly amazing. Installation was…

Doesn't fit twice even with the same hole size.

So I have a double noise on my 2007 Subaru. The flash button has only one screw to hold the alarm button in place. Factory - two screws. When you press the button, it goes down a little. I have a 2 din stereo that is the exact size it can handle. My stereo doesn't fit, it's just recessed, it's not flush. I almost have to shave the edges to get it to fit properly, I'm not sure I really want that. You use the existing brackets to mount your stereo. All holes fit. All fairing parts are OK. It just

For those who have automatic air conditioning, not manual

I bought this kit ONLY for the indoor unit as it definitely fits the same type but for automatic air conditioning, as in my 2007 Subaru. Backland. Since I install a single DIN GU. I couldn't find a storage box for the PG so I bought this and ate the extra cost for resetting the kit (bezel). Again, to make sure the noise fits right in the cabin. For a Subaru with digital climate control, nothing works but this one. . HU is tied to the air conditioner unit for automatic air conditioner types. So…

Good product. Not perfect, but pretty close.

Great product for the price. The only issues were: - The trim on the driver's side of this bracket did not sit flush. However, with a bit of fiddling, I was able to mount it so that there wasn't a huge gap. There were several holes around the alarm button that weren't big enough for two pins and had to be drilled. Outside. Also, the screw holes holding the alarm assembly were smaller than the OEM bracket holes, so the screws stretched the plastic when screwed back in. Also, it works great and I
