    Came broken. Flew in the trash.

    Well I broke it. It wouldn't be a huge problem, except that it wouldn't fit in a dual dyno head unit either. It seemed like it would go well with the 2014 Subaru Impreza. I honestly don't know as it's broken in 2. I didn't need the side mounts as I used the stock mounts with no problem.

    Doesn't fit 2013 Crosstrek

    I bought an AVH-2550NEX for my 2013 Crosstrek, while it may be a perfect fit for Crosstrek, it doesn't fit my aftermarket radio. Therefore, the recession is not on the surface. The edge is about 1 cm. I think I'll have to cut off some of the sides so it's closer to flush. Very annoying that it was impossible to water. If you want something flush, don't buy this kit for this type of radio.

    Not compatible with Kenwood HU

    Does not work with Kenwood head units. The bezel on the outside of the Kenwood screen protrudes and Scosche doesn't let you flush mount it. If you have a mid to high end dual core Kenwood (e.g. the DMX series) the buttons at the bottom of the screen will be hidden by the Scosche faceplate. Buy Metra 95-8905B double din instead. In my 2015 it fit like a glove, had no gaps on the sides, and was $5 less. It feels flimsy at first, but once the screws are inserted from the side, it becomes firm…

    I'm better off without it

    I bought this kit with a 7" double din car navigation system, DVD video player, audio/stereo radio and Bluetooth system. From what I could find, this is the only dash that works with a dual din head unit in a 2014 Impreza. The frame that should match the screen doesn't fit. This creates a recessed look and makes it more difficult to press the side buttons. In addition, the fragile part of the frame is constantly being deformed due to the very difficult insertion.     Visible plastic flaws and stupid deep frames

    Extremely poor plastic quality. Obviously the mold used by Scosche is defective as the original and replacement kits I received had visible plastic defects on the I side of the bezel. This is what you will be looking at from your driver's seat every day. With that in mind, the bezels are ridiculously deep, pushing your fancy new stereo back more than half an inch, as it does on my Pioneer dmh-w4660nex.     Please Note: THIS WILL NOT FIT FORESTER 09-13 SUBARU. Revane says yes, but they're wrong. COVER FITS but brackets do not. I also ordered a 2009-2010 Subaru Forester American International installation kit and it fits, but I didn't like the decal panel nor the Scosche brand so I modified the decal panel with a Dremel tool and then just glued the decal panel on. trim car.     Great product suitable for cars and car electronics

    I bought Scosche and Metra kits for my Subaru. The Scosche was slightly more expensive, but given the price of the car and the cost of the radio I installed, the difference in price between the Scosche and the Metra was negligible. visible part of the front panel. I ended up using Scosche. I also got the new head unit recessed a bit, I could trim the kit a bit with a razor blade to get around this (Metra didn't have this problem) but I think it looks better recessed anyway. Wrap the bezel in 3M

    Works in Forester 2014+ (SJ) - but texture is not quite perfect

    Pioneer AVH-4100NEX allowed to fit in 2015 Subaru Forester XT Premium (no navigation). 2014 and 2015 Forester in base or premium configuration (factory 4 or 6 speakers) without NAV (may fit NAV models but not sure). I would suggest two improvements: 1). Some degree of customization - I'm not as "flush" on the right side of the dash as I am on the left - I suspect this is because my dash is off a bit. Unfortunately, the front panel is not fully adjustable.2). Despite the description, it does not
