OEM style and better fit in car AV installation

If you want a double din dashboard for the Tundra, save yourself a lot of trouble and buy this one. Double DIN radio studs, no cage or trim ring required. I bought another cheaper brand and couldn't fit the radio perfectly in the hole. This one snapped into place and fitted perfectly. Color and style match my tundra 100%.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Clarity

Should have gone with the meter. Although maybe just as cheap

For what it costs I expected it to be at least flawless. The glossy black part has ripples, I assume we were done during production so I don't know why they didn't notice at the time. The plastic is sharp on the edges, as if it's been cut rather than filed or cleaned, making it cheap.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Insecure

Worth the price, much better than others!

This kit is much better than the one offered by Metra. The part is stronger and the holes that the HVAC control box snaps into are thicker and stronger. The kit also has the same features as my 2014 interior and looks much closer to stock than the Metra. It costs a little more than the Metra kit, but you really do get what you pay for. Looking back, I wish I had known that from the start.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Modern

Okay, it does the job, but I don't think the plastic attachment points match, causing the case to flex when inserted into the cavity. If it were metal it would hold the frame better. Maybe because I had more wires when using the Masestro/Toy02 harness? Who knows, but for over $40, the material is pretty flimsy. It also scratches easily. So 3 stars, halfway because it gets the job done, nothing more.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here
