does the job for a 2010 Ram 1500

It does the job but when I put my hand near the main unit the channel cuts out. Not sure if I connected it wrong but thought it was plug and play

Pros
  • Backed by Scosche's lifetime warranty and lifetime tech support
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

BMW ANTENNA ADAPTER

If you have the latest model of BMW and want to install a Japanese or non-European head unit in your car, this part is a must. I installed this in my 2006 BMW 116i with a Jensen 9412 multimedia head unit and everything was fine.

Pros
  • Connects an aftermarket stereo system to the original car antenna cable
Cons
  • Expensive

Works, but maybe there is a better solution.

Works well, did what I needed, but if you search the web you will find a dual antenna device that will work better for your diversity systems like mine. At least you don't have an extra cable that isn't connected to anything. However, I don't see a big drop in channel reception, so I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Made with factory quality wires and connectors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This plug has a small round earth ground with a very thin wire in the middle

Will not fit the 2001 Audi TT Concert Radio. Pay particular attention to the socket, the one on the left in the photo . This plug has a small round ground pin with a very thin center wire. The Audi Concert radio, Bose or not, uses a larger connector with a large center pin, similar to the center pin on the male end of this connector.

Pros
  • Connects directly to the factory antenna wire without cutting the wires
Cons
  • Expensive
