Perfect for subwoofer amplifiers!

I couldn't connect 4G cables to the subwoofer amp and couldn't find such connectors in local stores. These worked great. The pins were a little (maybe 1mm) too big for my amp but I just squeezed them a bit with pliers and they work great.

  • Slim design

A real pain, best to use in Industrial Electrical

I've been crimping them for a hell of a long time. I don't know if there is a better way but the only way I managed was to use a hammer and punch but it was far from a proper crimp more like a snap. I gave it 3 stars but to be honest if you have a sound system I don't know what other product you can use instead. If you have the right 4 gauge crimping tool, I'm sure you'll love them because they're pretty darn tough.

Not the best choice for home audio connections

Not really designed for use with home audio equipment, all sizes are oversized although the width of the blades is barely acceptable Hammer to crimp the connector . Apparently I selected the wrong sensor, I couldn't find the right one on Revain or anywhere else for some reason. This is an electrical connector not intended for 1970's home audio equipment. But once in place, they work well.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Upgrades

I don't know why Kicker decided to ditch the 4AWG direct cable connection on their CXA amps, but they did and now only accept Spade terminals. Luckily there is this cable lug set (SCOSCHE X2BS4-4 x4 x 4)! I'm wondering how such a small spade connection can carry the same amount of electrons (current flow) as a 4AWG wire. but so far so good. I'm glad this product is available from Revain and easy to install.

Pros
  • Spade
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

These tabs are great for the price

These spade connectors offer excellent value for money, simple packaging and exactly as shown. I have to let potential buyers know that they are difficult to crimp if you don't have the right tools, I didn't have 4 gauge pliers. So I used channel locks and that worked, a bench vise would work too. For a sound system that requires 4 gauge they fit right in with my amp and have very compact ends. Ideal for connecting power and ground wires to amplifiers. I would highly recommend this product to…

  • There are more interesting options.

Very strong! - Spade

This is my first time buying 4 AWG wire connectors and these connectors are solid! I couldn't crimp the wire by hand with a crimping tool, so I had to use a vise. Yes, they are so strong! I think the hole is too big for a 4awg because you know if you have dozens of strands of wire twisted around it they will compress when crimped so I had to crimp more to get a sure bite. But I made another wing and the deal went through with no problems. The connector itself is a perfect match for the JVC…
