    Unimportant. at RV Parts & Accessories

    Totally useless. Cope with bankruptcy on day one. The telescopong rotates so it is unstable and cannot pull the hood switch. Q can only be used to pull out the strap and pull down the awning.

    We bought a used mobile home and the awning opener was missing. We chose this one because it takes up less storage space. It worked great. Back? Since it can be folded to a smaller size, it may be more difficult to find in the storage compartment!

    Very durable: Van Parts & Accessories

    I like this brand more than the previous one. It's thicker and tends to hold rather than break apart just as easily. I also like that it's not quite 90 degrees and has a slightly larger hook so it holds up better. Looks like a great product and I can't wait to use it more often.

    Magic WANd for awnings

    This product meets all expectations. This product gives an average height adult the ability to use their shade/canopy without carrying the Rod of Moses while cruising down the street in their recreational vehicle. It makes sense to have something compact. It is silvery blue and very durable. The price is about right!

    Friction seat tip broken on first use.

    Hook broke on first use The book at the top is only held in place by a fantastic fit. We had to use this to detach the tent from our RV. Unfortunately, the hook at the top broke the first time I used it. There must be some other type of glue holding it together, but it's just a faint friction.

    Pull down the tip that was first removed from the tube.

    The drip tip has a stud end and screws into the top of the tube. At the end of the tube are tiny indentations into which a screw can be screwed. They are not good enough to hold the tip when pressure is applied. We bought it to pull the awning onto our trailer. Super glued the tip back into the tip of the tube. Used once and the tip stayed in the tube. I don't know how many uses it will last.

    Works as intended - RV parts and accessories

    We bought these working rod pullers to grab boxes on a roller that were away from the working person and they work great! Definitely works for us, I know they were meant for opening awnings but these things are great for other uses. They're telescoping so they're small and easy to carry, then fully extend to 44 inches when you need to pull something.

    Broke on first use

    I may have just received a broken unit and most are working fine. I was very disappointed! My Experience: I lengthened the block so I could reach the extend/retract lever on my RV's side awning. I hooked the end of the opener rod under the lever and pulled to bring it to the "extended" position. To my amazement, the rectangular portion of the opener rod just popped right out of the tube it was pushed into. I have since purchased an "old style" opener bar from CAMCO. This device is not…
